Spying Parts of Speech

Identify parts of speech in a sentence context! Two game boards and three card sets make precise prescription possible: Set A (nouns, verbs), Set B (nouns, verbs, adjectives), or Set C (nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns). The spin determines how far to move and the color of the word to classify. The winner is the first with 15 points. Involve 4-6 players when both games are in play. Four masters help assess how well students recognize parts of speech. Grades: 2+.
